PoroTimer ("we", "our", or "the app") is a macOS menu bar focus timer application developed by fruitlab. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use PoroTimer.
Information We Do Not Collect
PoroTimer does not collect any personal information. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Name, email address, or any contact information
- Location data
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Device identifiers
- Crash reports or diagnostics sent to our servers
- Any data transmitted to external servers

Data Stored on Your Device
PoroTimer stores the following data locally on your Mac only:
- Focus session history (date, duration, tag)
- App settings (timer duration, break duration, daily goal)
- In-App Purchase status (Pro unlock)
This data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and never leaves your device. You can delete all data by uninstalling the app.
In-App Purchases
PoroTimer offers an optional Pro upgrade via Apple's In-App Purchase system. All payment transactions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information.
Third-Party Services
PoroTimer does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only third-party service used is Apple's App Store for In-App Purchase processing, which is governed by Apple's own Privacy Policy.
Notifications
PoroTimer may send local notifications to alert you when a focus session or break is complete. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers or data transmission.
Children's Privacy
PoroTimer does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since we collect no personal data from any users, the app is safe for all ages.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of PoroTimer after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
