ClearDock makes no network requests. The app works entirely offline.

The only data stored locally is a security-scoped bookmark for your Desktop and Downloads folders, saved in your app's sandboxed container. This is used solely to remember your folder access permission between sessions.

All file deletions performed by ClearDock use macOS's built-in Trash mechanism. Files are moved to the Trash and can be recovered at any time. ClearDock never permanently deletes files.

ClearDock runs in Apple's App Sandbox, which restricts access to only the resources it needs. Access to your Desktop and Downloads folders requires your explicit permission, granted via a standard macOS folder selection dialog.
